We have moved large items within the tightest possible spaces over the years, and this experience has taught us well. Providing us with the understanding and awareness of how to ensure items are moved through narrow corridors and staircases. Around sharp corners, past protruding pilasters and many other awkward situations.
We are confident in the ability to say, we can tell whether an item will or won’t need dismantling to get it in or out of a property. Luckily if anything needs to be dismantled we will have tools to hand to ensure that we can complete the job quickly and efficiently.
Despite our abilities in moving items, there will of course be times that we need to overcome problems. There are times when a large item cannot be dismantled, and access is limited. Over the years we have become very adept at finding ways around situations.
Often one of the main solutions is to find alternate access. We have in the past found safe ways to get items through 1st floor windows one of which meant going across the roof tops of several flats with the item.
At man and Van Bournemouth we take the time to ensure all of our drivers take great care in transit. They all have clean licences and we ensure they are careful and courteous on the road. All driving skills and attitudes are monitored by senior staff.
All of the items we collect for disposal are disposed of in a legal and correct manner. Through our affiliated companies we hold a commercial waste licence. Meaning any items cleared are disposed of legally and split into the correct recycling groups.
